According to Brecht a home must reflect the people who live in it. That’s why he knew he had to find an older apartment with characteristic details and style.
“The things I love most about our thirties apartment are the details: the wooden window-frames, the wooden floors and the tiled floor in the kitchen. I have a soft spot for architecture with a certain quality to it... It is the perfect base to combine contemporary art and furniture from different times and styles."
