A sofa in the kitchen

Marie is a happy mom of three and founder of ZebraBook, a company that designs beautiful personalized children’s books. She lives in stately manor house in Ixelles, Brussels.

“A sofa in the kitchen was a must”, says Marie. “My son likes to take his time to wake up here every morning and it’s the children’s refuge when my husband is scaring them by playing a monster! It had to be timeless, and we didn’t want to worry about it being stained.” The couple bought the piece at Haute Antique, a vintage shop in Brussels. Marie also absolutely loves the colour of the Kilim she combined it with.
