Aboriginal art

Charlotte and Frederic seem to have an eye for art.

The painting was made by Warlimpirrnga Tjapaltjarri, an Aboriginal artist who paints abstract paintings with dots that form lines and curves. Lake Mackay, a vast saltwater flat in Australia is the primary focus of his paintings, but outsiders never get to know the meaning behind them. Charlotte and Frederic bought it in Alice Springs in 2009, when the artist wasn’t yet known internationally and therefor still affordable.
