When they bought their apartment, the building was still under construction, so they had the chance to change a few things here and there. There weren’t any building plans for the kitchen yet, but as they’re both architects, they didn’t found it hard to come up with a solution. After visiting the Bulthaup showroom in Brussels for a couple of months, they finalized the design. Crisina and Philippe have a thing for natural materials, which is why they chose a marble working top. The task lighting above the kitchen island is a wooden LED lamp, made of trees that were especially grown for this purpose in Amsterdam.
