Pierre Jeanneret

Pierre Jeanneret

When asked about their favourite piece, Alexander and Kunegonde point to the original Chandigarh chair by Pierre Jeanneret standing next to their bookcase.

“Chandigarh refers to the Indian city that was built in the fifties according to the plan of Le Corbusier and his nephew, Pierre Jeanneret. These chairs have been designed especially for the Supreme Court.” They are in high demand by collectors – Kunegonde and Alexander, for example, drove to Paris to pick up their chair.
