The birds

Every day at sunrise and sunset, hundreds of seagulls fly above the canal. They’re like commuters going to work, just like Cristina and Philippe.

As they often fly at the same height of their apartment, Cristina and Philippe regularly witness the impressive stream of birds past their windows. This is how they had the idea of creating a bird made of washi tape to break the length of the empty wall and make a reference to their surroundings. It was also a great excuse to try and make a large wall art with washi tape!
