Third time's the charm

The marble coffee table is Chloé’s favorite piece of furniture.

And it comes with a great story, too. The marble plate already got replaced twice since Chloé has bought the table, as her friends accidentally broke it by being a tad too drunk or giving her a helping hand by moving it. “You wouldn’t suspect it at first, but it’s a very fragile piece of furniture as the underframe is almost nonexistent – nothing supports the plate in the middle! But even though it broke twice already, I would never replace it for a more solid table. We still laugh about those stories, so it has great sentimental value for me.”
