We’re very proud to announce that our ambassador Laura Fernandez Ruiz got featured on The Sociality Family (a.k.a. one of the most visited blogs in France about cool families and how they live…), together with her sweet husband and cute daughter Olivia. (FR)
Two summers after Lexi Mainland, her husband and son moved in, their Brooklyn apartment was finally feeling like a true family home. But there was one room that still needed some love; the living room, which looked simultaneously empty and overcrowded. Here’s the before and (stunning!) after…
Beautiful tiled floors that stood the test of time. P.S. As Europeans, don’t you find it a bit funny (and charming, too) how Americans are so in awe with Europe’s heritage and our je-ne-sais-quoi?
Eliza De Waele – blogger of Ergenstussenin and first-time mom of baby Lucet (whose nursery we already featured on Roomin!) – is launching her very first concept store Kabine soon! As she was quite fed up with the birth list possibilities at the Belgian sea side, she decided to combine her newly acquired knowledge of this topic with her longtime love for interior design. The offline shop will open its doors in the spring of 2018, but you can already start to shop on Monday October 16!
Happy Home ambassador Stephanie Duval enjoyed a perfect fall weekend with friends, tiny pumpkins, outdoor walks to collect pinecones, lots of sunshine and a bit of crafting for the upcoming holiday season. She gathered all her treasures in this beautiful Notre Monde tray.
Heading to New York soon? Here’s an Instagrammer’s design guide to New York City, including the best art galleries and museums, the coolest boutiques and the hippest cafes that have all got the Instagram seal of approval.
Have you seen Laura’s attic renovation?
The temperatures of this weekend look promising, but even though we’re still a little in denial: summer is officially over. If you want to hold on that sweet summer feeling a little longer; Sarah made a cute scented bag with the lavender that grew on her balcony.
The furniture Lori Vandyck surrounds herself with, all have an emotional connection since she became mother of Ellie. Her Ethnicraft side table is the place where she puts the bottles of milk after feeding Ellie in the sofa, and represent a moment of peace and quiet (to read magazines!) when Ellie takes a nap.
Even if you don’t have any design knowledge, it’s hard not to acknowledge that the Eames Lounge Chair is a sight for sore eyes. Ever wondered how they assemble this design classic? The people of Master Meubel are inviting an employee from Vitra to their showroom on 18 and 19 November, who will show you why this chair is considered a classic. (Spoiler: it’s all in the details!)
